Mission Statement: The Junior Boarding School Association, founded in 1989, is committed to creating a positive and dynamic awareness of the junior boarding school experience as an enriching and challenging yet nurturing choice for the education of elementary and middle school age children. The association is a consortium of twelve boarding schools, coed and boys, ranging from grade one to nine, some offering day options.
